Our Video Production Process: From Concept to Completion

Creating a video is a collaborative journey. Here’s an overview of how we’ll work together from start to finish:

Step 1: Discovery & consultation

The first step is all about getting to know your project. Whether through a quick message, a phone call, or an in-person coffee chat, we’ll discuss your vision, goals, budget, and timeline. The more we prepare upfront, the smoother the process will be—and that means a better final product!

Step 2: storyboarding & planning

Next, we’ll bring your ideas to life with a detailed storyboard. This stage can be as collaborative as you’d like. If you enjoy being hands-on with things like shot composition, lighting, and music, I’d love to work with you on that. If you’d prefer I handle the creative direction and just get your approval, I’m happy to take the lead and ensure we’re aligned.

Step 3: production day!

Now comes the fun part—filming! By this stage, we’ll have already nailed down the schedule, vision, and goals. Whether we’re shooting for a few minutes or a full day, I’ll ensure everything goes smoothly, and I’ll keep energy high!

Step 4: post-production & editing

Once filming wraps, the editing process begins. I’ll upload and back up all the footage, then dive into the editing room to bring your vision to life. Throughout this phase, I’ll keep you updated on progress and send over a draft for your review. We’ll tweak things together until we achieve perfection.

Step 5: final delivery

Once the edits are complete, we’ll celebrate! Your video will be polished, delivered in the format that suits your needs, and ready to be shared with the world.
